  • Huge Drugstore Haul

If you watch my Youtube channel you'll notice a distinct lack of my usual haul videos. I decided not to spend any money on clothes this month (which also adds to the fact I've barely done any outfit photos in ages!) and I do plan on doing a post about my experience very soon. But a few days ago I was in Central London and I stumbled upon a Superdrug and I went in for a browse. Half a hour later and £80 lighter I came out with a bunch of brand new stuff to try as well as a few tactical repurchases. Watch the video above to see what I picked up including some dupes for popular products that I've tried before!

I hope you enjoy the video as I really like it. I don't know why but after a couple of months of being uninspired by Youtube I have the urge to film and make stuff again. I've got loads of ideas and things I want to do with the channel its just a mixture of time constraints and getting people to help me out. Anyway, if you have any requests or ideas then do leave the in the comments and I'll try my best to make them a reality!

  • Ace of Base

Faking the lit from within glow has been a trend for as long as I can remember so keeping a few illuminating primers, highlighters and creams is a must. That model lit from within look comes around every summer. Not all of us have flawless glowing skin - But it's one of the easiest things to fake.! Achieve that inner radiance with the help of a strategically placed glow producing products.

Im currently digging the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base. They've launched some tan shades for the season which are a must in any beauty bag this summer! These primers boost the skin before adding a foundation or can be blended with your favourite summer base for a dreamy glow. The darker shade would be perfect base for sunkissed holiday skin, worn alone or mixed in with your favourite tinted moisturiser!

  • 5 Common Mistakes About Bloggers

Bloggers are seen as having perfect lives, perfect careers and perfect selfies. Things aren’t always how they seem especially when it comes to blogging. Here are 5 common mistakes people make about bloggers.

    1. Blogging is easy to do

This year I’m entering my 6th year blogging. That seems crazy to type as I never imagined in a million years something I’d start one day aged 15 would still be a part of my life at 21 years old. The amount of times I’ve reshot photos, stayed up until 1-2am editing posts and emailing. With being a full-time student it’s definitely a lot harder to blog as well.

    2. Bloggers are really confident

Yes there are some really confident bloggers out there but there are a lot of us (including myself) who are a little body conscious. Yes we may post hundreds of photos of what we’ve been wearing and how we wear our clothes but we’re not the most confident people in the world. We’re real people just like you.

    3. It’s all about the freebies

When I have parcels delivered all the time to my house and my student house my family and housemates could easily think I get everything for free. When I started blogging I had no idea about PR, Social Media and gifting, which is now a norm for many bloggers. Most bloggers (including myself) started blogging as a hobby and blog for nothing and still continue to treat blogging that way. Blogging is a hobby to me and any money I earn is an extra.

    4. That Life is perfect

I even think this myself from time to time. I sometimes see photos of bloggers and think their lives must be perfect. Yes you see bloggers instagramming everything they’re up to, all the amazing events they get invited to. I don’t get the chance to go to many events, as I don’t live in London.

    5. Bloggers are obsessed with appearance

Bloggers aren’t always obsessed with appearance. Everyone likes to look good for a photo but we have no-make up days to and days we just want to chill out and relax. I don’t wear make-up unless I’m going out and I’m totally fine with just lounging around in a jumper and leggings!

These are just some of the misconceptions I think people have about bloggers. Can you relate to any of these?

  • April Cleansers

My poor skin is having a bit of a rough time recently. I haven't quite pin pointed the exact thing thats breaking me out but it could be a primer which I've just realised as silicone in or a change in my diet. Who knows, although Im determined to get to the bottom of it all! Recently I've been using a new combo of products that I picked up on Space NK and Cult Beauty and I thought I'd share my thoughts

The Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel is more of a gel balm, I was imagining it would be more of a gel than a balm as my skin doesnt normally like balms. I have noticed that the overall appearance of my skin is much better and my congested areas (cheeks and nose) look a lot let noticeable. I love the way it feels on my skin and the way it removes my makeup with ease. It's super milky and light and leaves my skin feeing deeply cleanser and so fresh.

Whenever I use a balm I always have to follow up with another cleanser to make sure its all off my skin. I've been using the Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser which again wasn't how I was expecting either. It's actually a light foaming cleanser packed full of french clay to draw out any nasties from the skin. My skin is currently a mix of scarring and active breakouts and I feel like this brightens my skin without making it feel tight or dried out.

  • A Powder Spray Tan

A press release featuring the Givenchy Brume Bonne Mine popped into my inbox and I was intrigued. A healthy glow, powder spray? Yeap a powder in a spray. I was really confused but I requested the product and egarly awaited it's arrivals. The Givenchy Brume Bonne Mine Powder Spray is a spray on tan/healthy glow spray on foundation type deal. It's like a shot of instant tan in a can. It's light and fresh and adds a universally flattering tan to the skin, hiding any lumps and bumps and blurring it all out to a even base.

Like with all spray on things (Im looking at you Dior Airflash) it has it down sides as it can get in the hair and eyebrows if you don't apply it properly and blend it into the skin nicely with a brush it can look cakey. But if you put a little work into it it looks lovely. It definitely isn't as easy as spray and go unfortunately! But this is the kind of product that I'd use on holiday for faking perfect holiday skin in the evenings when you want some colour and coverage at the same time.

  • Beauty: Look Fantastic May Beauty Box

Look Fantastic Beauty Box - Look Fantastic*
First things first, Happy May! I genuinely can't believe it's May it feels like this year is going far too fast! Yesterday Look Fantastic's May Beauty Box arrived in the post and I just couldn't wait to share this box of beautifulness with you all! You may have caught my post about the March Look Fantastic Beauty Box here which I absolutely adored. I love the concept of beauty boxes as it's like a surprise to yourself each month. I love receiving the Look Fantastic Beauty Box in the post and I've been looking forward to receiving it all week! I'd say this month's beauty box is more summer themed so if you're going on holiday soon, this is the beauty box for you!

    Tanworkx Self Tanning Lotion
I've heard a lot about Tanworkx through reading other blogs and beauty reviews. I'm personally not a fan of self tanning products as I've got quite dark skin but I'm definitely going to give this a try on any uneven bits of skin I have or maybe just tan my legs to give them a summer glow!

    Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

I'm really excited about this oil. It's a multi-purpose luxury oil that cares to soften and illuminate face, body and hair. I can't wait to use it as this has had so many good reviews online.

    Erno Laszlo Night Serum

If there is one thing that's worth spending a little bit extra money on it's skincare. I am loving night treatments at the moment which leave my skin soft and moisturised in the morning. I don't know what it is but the weather is drying my skin out so much at the moment.

    Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm

This product I'm so excited about as the full size version is £46! I've heard a lot about Omorovicza and you know a product is going to be good in a beauty box when the full size version is expensive!

    Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask

I'm really looking forward to trying out this mask! I think this time of the year everyone is so stressed and tired (especially those of you who are at university like me!) and once my deadlines are over at the end of next week and i'm going to be pampering myself with my favourite soap and glory products and going to be trying out this mask on my hair! I think this mask is great because the pot is so small which means when you go on holiday you can easily fit this in your travel size bag!

    Eyelure Pre-Glued Lashes

Whenever I go on a night out/date night or just somewhere I want to feel extra nice I always wear a pair of Eyelure Lashes. They're been a staple in my life since I turned 18 and I'm a massive fan of the Katy Perry party lashes! One thing I still do struggle with is managing to put the lashes on perfect everytime so these pre glued lashes will be an absolute life saviour.

I really love Look Fantastic's Beauty Boxes and they never disappoint. I'd highly recommend picking this one up and it's only £15! Especially if you want to try some new products and feel summer ready!

  • Behind the Scenes @ ASOS

Ever wondered what goes on behind closed doors at a big brands headquarters? Well a couple of days ago I was invited along to ASOS HQ to take an exclusive peek behind the scenes and check out a new launch of the Christopher Kane x ASOS newness. I've been to ASOS HQ a few times before and each time I head over it changes, grows and becomes cooler and cooler! It's actually really fascinating and they do all their design work, some pattern cutting as well as shoot all the imagery for the website. I really wish I could show you more but it's a bit hard when there are so many new designs floating about. Trust me, ASOS are on top form as per usual! And if you're a Nars Lover then stick around to the end as there is quite a hefty ol' Nars Haul! Trust me it's a goody! Aerys even chimes in on her favourite products!

  • Beauty: How To Make The Most Out Of Your Make-up Bag

The idea of this post came from doing my make-up a few days ago and thinking about how I use the real techniques brushes for different purposes and made me think on how you can use your make-up products for more than one purpose and here are my favourites.

    1. Use a lipgloss as a highlighter to give the look of dewy skin after you've done your foundation.

    2. Use brown mascara to tame your eyebrows. I've done this a few times as sometimes in my on the
go make-up bag I forgot to add in my eyebrow gel!

    3. Use a dark eyeshadow to contour your face.

    4. Prime your eyes for eyeshadow by using concealer instead of an eyeshadow primer.

    5. Illuminate your brow bone with concealer.

    6. Use cream blusher as a lipstick tint.

    7. Instead of using a brow shadow palette for your eyebrows use a dark eyeshadow.

    8. Use your mascara as an eyeliner to create a perfect feline flick.

What are your beauty tips for making the most out of your make-up bag?

  • Admin & Updates

Hi guys. Long time no speak eh.

So this is the first time I’ve sat down and actually written my blog in weeks. Probably actually before I went to Japan and that was back in March. It’s hard to explain why I’ve been trying to work out how to say things without people passing it off as a blogger just being a bit of an arsehole. Blogging full time is so much harder than most people think. It’s not just about the actual content - it’s the admin, organisation, promotion and all that jazz. I dont enjoy any of the business side of blogging, it really doesnt interest me at all. I like making content and posting and the emails, admin and scheduling stuff just bores the hell out of me. My inbox is thousands upon thousands deep upon unread mails and missed opportunities. I feel guilty but thats just what Im like.

I struggle to keep up most of the time with how intense and fast paced blogging has got over the years. I’ve got to this point where I know that I simply cant run my Youtube Channel and blog consistently at the same time. To me it’s either one or the other and that takes up all my time. I think I flip flop between loving blogging and loving vlogging but getting that middle ground where I can create something constantly good on both sides is the part I’ve found hard. I can either make quality content on my channel or on my blog, but in an ideal world I’d really like to be able to do both. Im trying to work out how to do this and make it work for me again. I really love creating and sharing, especially hearing other peoples feedback on the things that I do.

A little bit of a life update from me. Im good, I’ve been quite ill the last month on and off and I even went to hospital for a bit. I dont really talk about my personal life beyond “hey, heres a few photos of me doing something”. But I have a reoccurring illness which brings me down quite a bit and knocks me out of action for periods of time. For the moment I’m “fine” but not brilliant. But hey, I’m keeping going.

Me and my boyfriend also split up just after I got back from Japan. No I’m not sad, although it wasn't exactly mutual, but Im relived to be out of that vortex of destruction once and for all. He was THAT ex if anyone has been reading long enough to want to know the juicy deets. I was a very stupid girl and regret a lot of things. It’s very easy to be blinded by someones apparent feelings for you before doing the exact thing you were worried about them doing while you were away.

As for other things, I’ve been really feeling negative about is my body. Although not nessecerily how I feel about myself more the way people talk about my body, My weight doesn’t particular bother me but it makes me feel incredibly guilty when people like to point it out. No I’m not eating 2000 cakes a day, my weights just fluctuated in the past few months mainly from being sick and on medication for that. I’ve been everything from a size 8 to a size 14 since starting this blog and never have I once felt unfashionable or uncomfortable with my body until recently. I never thought blogging would effect my body image in the way it had. I always found blogging incredibly inspiring because of the "real" and varied body sizes our community has on show. Straight up, I think it shocked me how much it got to me? While I have a incredibly thick skin, no one wants to hear that kinda stuff about themselves. I hate that we live in an age where everyone is too skinny or too fat. You could be totally happy with yourself but a few digs here and there can really mix up how your own body image. It's crap.

I also felt like I was in a style rut. My style definitely isnt cool or cutting edge. I know what I like and I know what I feel good in. My style is so different to what's also "in" right now and paired with the fact I spent about 8 months dressed like I did when I was 15 (holla @ those former emo kids) I just needed a kick up the but to get my fashion mojo back a bit! I didnt buy any clothes in all of April, and to be honest most of March too! However the past weeks I've been trying new things and trying to piece together a fresh take on my own personal style! I actually wrote a post once on how to find your personal style so if you wanted to check out the steps I took to do it then here it is!

As you guys know I’ve been writing a book, which again I’ve really struggled with. Im not going to lie and say it came flowing out of me. Sometimes it took me days to get all my thoughts together on each blog related subject before. The fear of saying the wrong thing was always in the back of my mind. Im almost at the end of of my book journey and it’s such a awesome feeling of accomplishment. Keep tuned for more information on that over the next few days though as I’ve got some cool things to announce.

Im off travelling again as of Sunday, I’ll tell you all the details about that again in the next few days. Im so excited and I promise I’ll blog that properly! Im excited to get away and start my summer off. It feels like I can finally get back to focusing on me and my life again and summer is definitely the best time for it. Roll on festival fun for the next few months as well as a few cheeky trips abroad!

So thank for you sticking around if you’re still here reading this. I know my blog hasnt been consistently "good" in ages now but Im taking a stand from today and turning things up a notch again. Although I do fear I have too high standards for myself so I set myself up for failure. Sigh!

Y’all too good to me. Love ya!

White Chunky Heels - River Island
Block Heel Sandals - New Look
Floral Print Sleeveless Cardigan - New Look

I'm loving so many things on the high-street right now. As soon as it's spring/summer I feel the need to buy a whole new wardrobe. It's a new season it's a little bit warmer so there's definitely 1 million reasons to go out and treat yourself to something new...

A massive trend at the moment is flared trousers/jeans. I think with a pair of heels anyone could wear this trend. I love these ones from Missguided and they're perfect for any outfit as they're monochrome! Culottes are my favourite fashion trend at the moment. I love how easy they are to wear and I have a floral pair which I love (you may have seen them in this post) they're great for a casual day but also for an evening out!

I'm loving the sleeveless cardigan/waistcoat trend at the moment. Investing in a sleeveless cardigan/waistcoat is great for this season as you can wear it with so many basic items in your wardrobe. I love wearing mine with a striped long sleeved top and a pair of skinny jeans.

Pink Textured Skater Dress - River Island

It's that time of the year where most of us will be attending a summer event/wedding. I'm attending one of my friends weddings in July and i'm so excited. I'm already thinking about what I will wear for the wedding. I think in the summer it's all about wearing pastels and nudes. I'm loving floral prints at the moment and this one is gorgeous and a bargain to. I think jumpsuits are another great option for a summer wedding with a pair of heels and a clutch bag and this one from Pretty Little Thing is perfect for a wedding!

I'm thinking in the summer I'll have to invest in a pair of nude heels for the wedding and as I'll have just come back from my holiday I will hopefully be tanned!

  • Trek America

Gosh, so that whole blogging thing went out the window pretty quickly! Last week just went crazy and I just completely ran out of time. So, Im actually in America right now as Im typing this - currently on a Trek America tour around some of the West Coast for a 10 days! We just left Vegas, which was insane and awesome. I've never experienced anything like it and my head is really paying for it now! I have an insane hangover which is NOT the one and we're going back for two days at the end of the trip.

I'll be blogging about my trip when I get back but make sure you follow me on Instagram or over on my Snapchat (llymlrs) for daily snaps and videos live from the scene@

  • Matte Me Up

BARRY M MATTE ME UP in SHADE 1*
Right off the bat I thought I would hate this product. I dunno for some reason it gave me bad vibes. I think the packaging looks cheap and Im just not overly keen on it.

But as they always say don't judge something by the way it looks! The Barry M Matte Me Up Lipstick in the shade 1 is an awesome peachy pink lip crayon of dreams. A little bit like my favourite lip shade (Illamasqua Androgen) it's a dreamy peach with a matte finish. The lip crayon winds up to reveal more product, although I actually broke mine with some over zealous twisting! Like most matte lips it's goes on a little bit patchy if you dont prep the skin with a good ol' lip scrub but it doesnt look or feel dry once applied. As a peachy pink champion this has quickly become my go-to lip shade as of late and I really adore it! Im glad I decided to give it a go rather than tossing it on my to review pile!

  • Beauty: The £5 Lip Liner You NEED This Summer

Lip Liner in Beestung - Topshop

It feels like a life time ago since I last posted. I've been away for a week and managed to break my phone so I've felt a little bit out of contact with the social media and blogging world but it's been good to have a break. I've now got a new phone (yes!) and going to have to spend a lot of a time catching up! First up it's this lip liner which I picked up a few weeks ago in Topshop and it's been my go to lip liner everyday since.

Lip Liner in Beestung - Topshop
It's an absolutely gorgeous shade and it looks great against my dark skin tone. It's a brown/pink toned colour which I love. I wear mine with Velvet Teddy lipstick from MAC or Honey Love and it pairs perfectly. I think it's a great colour and very 90's which is bang on trend right now.

Lip Liner in Beestung - Topshop
This is a great summery colour if you want to add a bit more colour to your simple nude lipstick. I've already gone half way through my lip liner now and i'll be definitely be purchasing another one! It's highly pigmented and is really long lasting and applies so smoothly. I'll definitely be picking up more Topshop Lip Liners as they seem to be some of the best around right now!

Have you tried any Topshop lip liners? Any other lip liners on the high-street you're loving right now?

    Striped Sleeveless Blouse - Topshop*
    Storm Duster Coat - Topshop*
High-Waisted Dark Blue Jeans - Topshop*
    Mid Heel Shoes - Topshop
I must admit last week was the longest break i've taken from blogging in about 3 years. It's extremely tiring trying to keep up a website, blog, emails, social media accounts... admin the list goes on! But the next few posts are really exciting as I'm collaborating with Topshop! As you all know, Topshop is my absolute favourite store and I'm so happy to be collaborating with them. My next few posts will be Topshop outfits inspiring you for what to wear for different summer themes. I already posted about my summer party outfit idea in this post.

    Striped Sleeveless Blouse - Topshop*
    Storm Duster Coat - Topshop*
High-Waisted Dark Blue Jeans - Topshop*
    Mid Heel Shoes - Topshop
This outfit I'd wear to a fashion event, evening out or a date night with my boyfriend. I think it's a great smart outfit which could look good all year round. During the summer this would be a perfect outfit for a summer BBQ/Party (especially in England as it's never that sunny).

    Striped Sleeveless Blouse - Topshop*
    Storm Duster Coat - Topshop*
High-Waisted Dark Blue Jeans - Topshop*
    Mid Heel Shoes - Topshop
This outfit is quite simple but stylish as the grey duster coat matches my shoes and the coat goes with the striped blouse so nicely! If you're going to buy this blouse i'd definitely size up as it's quite small and be prepared to iron it overtime you want to wear it!

Navy Stripe Top - Pretty Little Thing*
Navy Stripe Trousers - Pretty Little Thing*
Clutch Bag - Pretty Little Thing
    White Heels - New Look

I have so many outfit posts coming up in the next couple of weeks! I feel so inspired by fashion lately and have really changed up my wardrobe. A couple of weeks ago this gorgeous two piece arrived in the post and i've been wearing it (or each item separately) most days since. As you all know I'm a massive fan of all things striped, so this two piece has become a real staple in my wardrobe!

Navy Stripe Top - Pretty Little Thing*
Navy Stripe Trousers - Pretty Little Thing*
Clutch Bag - Pretty Little Thing
    White Heels - New Look
I've teamed this two piece up with a white clutch bag and my new white heels from New Look. These heels are literally the comfiest heels i've ever owned! I can't stop wearing them as they look so smart and classy. They were only about £18 to which is a total bargain! I love wearing these trousers by themselves with a black cami top, white t-shirt and converses or sandals. If I'm feeling like I want to make more of an effort with my outfit I'll wear the striped top with a pair of black skinny jeans and boots. I love this two piece as it's so versatile.

Navy Stripe Top - Pretty Little Thing*
Navy Stripe Trousers - Pretty Little Thing*
Clutch Bag - Pretty Little Thing
    White Heels - New Look

This is the sort of outfit you should definitely invest in this summer. It's so easy to wear and you can wear both items separately as well as together! I can see this being a staple piece in my wardrobe for years to come! There's so many gorgeous pieces online on Pretty Little Thing at the moment and

You'll also be pleased to know you can get 20% off Pretty Little Thing at the moment with the code 'YAYMAY'.

    White Duster Coat - Primark

Black Stripe Trousers - New Look*
    White Heels - New Look*
I am obsessed with striped trousers at the moment. I love how they sink in at the waist and make you legs look longer. After visiting the recent New Look Press Day (post coming soon about it) I received a gift card and picked up these beauties to add to my summer wardrobe!

    White Duster Coat - Primark
Black Cami Top - New Look
Black Stripe Trousers - New Look*
    White Heels - New Look*
I absolutely love this outfit. I think it's so simple but it's stylish. I love a simple monochrome look and I think these pieces look great on their own as well. I've been wearing the striped trousers with jumpers on colder days and I think these trousers would look great on a night out with a simple crop top and pair of heels!

  • Beauty: The £2.50 Benefit Gimme Brow Dupe

    Eyebrow Gel Mascara - Essence

Since I got Benefit's Gimme Brow I was addicted. I've worn the product everyday since I've had it and it's been the perfect product from my eyebrows. At £17.50 the product is far too expensive for a student or anyone really unless they really love there eyebrows so I've been desperate to find a good dupe. On a recent shopping trip I came across this amazing dupe from Essence Cosmetics (available at Wilkinsons stores)

    Eyebrow Gel Mascara - Essence

I use a eyebrow pencil for the bottom of my eyebrows and then fill them in with Gimme Brow. I was so excited to use this product especially as it was £15 cheaper then Benefit's version. The only key difference I've noticed with using this product is the brush is not as gentle as on the eyebrows as Gimme Brow. It's good pay off, goes well with dark eyebrows and keeps my brows in place all day.

    Eyebrow Gel Mascara - Essence

I'll definitely be repurchasing this product as it's saved me £15! I much prefer this to the Maybelline Brow Drama as the brush on the Essence eyebrow gel gives the eyebrows a much more natural look yet full look.

  • Fashion: Ways To Wear Culottes

    Ribbed Crop Top - Topshop*

Print Floral Culottes - New Look*

Clutch Bag - Pretty Little Thing

    White Heels - New Look

Culottes have been an obsession of mine from some time now. I think they're such a good trend especially if you're a girl like me who lives in jeans/trousers! You can see another way how I wear culottes in this post. They're such a great trend as you can add some print to your wardrobe with these light weight trousers and as they're cropped they won't make you really warm when it's hot outside which makes culottes a staple for your holiday wardrobe this summer.

    Ribbed Crop Top - Topshop*

Print Floral Culottes - New Look*

Clutch Bag - Pretty Little Thing

    White Heels - New Look

I've teamed these culottes with a simple black crop top this one's from Topshop. I think especially for holidays, culottes are a great trend. They can be worn casually with a pair of heels and a crop top or can be worn formally with a cami top and duster coat.

  • Lifestyle: 5 Things You Can Do To Make Another Bloggers Day

It finally hit me yesterday. I've been blogging 6 years now and I realised why so much has changed these past couple of years, not only has the blogging world/industry changed dramatically but so has the support and encouragement bloggers used to have for each other. I remember the days when I used to get 50+ comments on a blog post and it made me feel great, I loved how many people were reading and engaging with my content and it made me spur on to blog even more and it's those times which have spurred me on to continue blogging today.

Fast forward 2/3 years and I am happy if I get 5 comments on a blog post. I know technology has changed and it's a lot harder to write a comment after reading a blog post but lately my blog has got me down as I saw that my views on my blog were good but nobody was really engaging in the content i'd spent hours and hours creating. I realised in some ways I'm guilty of doing this myself. I'll really enjoy reading the content, I'll give it a heart on blog lovin and stick it into my saved posts folder but that's not the same as taking that extra bit of time to comment on the post and tell the blogger why you loved it. So here we are I've come up with a few things you can do to make another bloggers day and showing some blogger love.

    1. If you don't have time to comment on a blog post, send the blogger a message on twitter. It's quick, 100 times easier and you can generate a proper conversation and still show the blogger you appreciate there content.

    2. Watch/click on the adverts. Okay so we all know adverts on youtube and on blog sites bore you but blogging for many people is a full time job, how they earn a living and it's you which helps them achieve that dream of being a full time blogger. So next time you see an advert on a blog, click on it, read the article/watch the advert on youtube. Do your bit to help!

    3. Share the love on Facebook. I know Facebook isn't really the most popular tool for bloggers but it's still a great one. A lot of bloggers create good sharable content (cue Hannah Gale's awesome blog post lists) so why not click the share button and share it with your Facebook friends if you found it interesting? one of your Facebook friends will do too.

    4. Go old school, comment on the blog post. I love reading comments from people on my blog and I love it when you tell me your really enjoyed the post. I love it when readers make suggestions of things they'd like to see on my blog too. By taking 1 minute out of your day to comment on a blog post you liked, this could really make another bloggers day.

    5. Don't ignore the sponsored content. It's something i've seen a lot of lately, bloggers produce some amazing content (even though it's sponsored) and people penalise them and send them hate because of it. We all blog because we love it, we blog because we enjoy it. If someone came along to you and offered you money for doing something you loved, you wouldn't say no. Blogging is now a career for so many people and it's campaigns/sponsored content which enables bloggers to keep creating the unsponsored content and keep writing the content you love. Nothing is free, nothing is easy and blogging takes a lot of time. Despite your possible hatred for them read the sponsored post!

These are just a few things you could do to make another bloggers day, share the love, support each other and hopefully the blogging industry will get back to what it used to be like!

What do you think of blogging? How do you share content from other bloggers? what sort of content do you enjoy reading the most?

  • Getting Festival Ready

This post is SPONSORED By TK MAXX

Recently I’ve collaborated with TK Maxx on some research that explores how social media influences our personal style and shopping habits. We’re now seeing the rise of the insta- wardrobe, as people look to social media for style inspiration. As someone who is a serial shopper, blogger and all round social media savvy chic, I know this all too well. I think 90% of the things I buy are based on things I see other people wear or talk about online. I can’t scroll thought my Instagram feed without being inspired or influenced by something someone I follow is wearing. I think it’s a really positive thing that we’re open to influences from real people online and not only celebrities.

TK Maxx is one of the best places to find designer items with super affordable price tags. You can literally pick up things for a fraction of their RRP and it’s a treasure trove of gems. I’ve worked with them to bring you my top look for festival season, I hope you love it!

For my outfit I decided to choose a loose tank and knotted it at my waist. For bottoms I decided to go with this unique cut out skirt - I love how the floral lace extends past the under skirt so it shows the pattern a little bit more. As footwear I found these sweet leopard skate shoes. Skate shoes are my favourite shoes for festivals purely because they are comfy and cool at the same time. Although with the British weather you may have to pull out the wellies! To accessorise I chose a pair of reflective sunglasses, a very well loved leather jacket and my trusty Fedora. I mean when in the last year have you seen me without one?

Every store has unique stock, so you may not be able to find my exact outfit in store, but I’m sure you’ll find something you love just as much as I like my outfit!

  • Keeping Faith

A bit of a weird outfit for me as it's a very non-typical me outfit. However I wore this on a date recently so I thought I'd show it on here too. The reason why this came to fruition was because I saw someone in the street wearing a ripped midi skirt from ASOS (I was that person and stopped and asked her) and I just knew I had to recreate. Unfortunately it was OOS by the time I got around to ordering on it so I had to go searching for an alternative. This one is from Vila and is a little bit shorter (then again Im 5ft5, so maybe it's a good thing!).

I've been on a bit of a Midi skirt hype recently, I love the length more than ever and have been opting more and more for trousers and skirts that cut off mid calf rather than my usual mini. I think it's super flattering and I feel pretty comfortable in it! Maybe it's my old age (ahem) that has got me craving longer lengths!

  • Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess 2015

ESTEE LAUDER BRONZE GODDESS! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Y’all know if you’ve been following my blog for a long time that I’m a die hard Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess fan. I sing it’s praises pretty much every year and always end up buying about 3 bottles each time it gets released. Its EL iconic summer season perfume which sells out every year and if you haven’t smelled it you’re simply just missing out.

Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess is best described as “holiday in a bottle”. A mix of creamy coconut, vanilla, mandarin, amber, lemons and tropical flowers. Bronze Goddess just embodies all things summer. If you tried last year’s version then it’s pretty much the same as that one. Creamy, smooth, exotic and glamorous.

It’s out now so get your paws on it as soon as possible! Keep and eye out for a little giveaway Im going to host next week in which Im giving away 5 bottles of the stuff!

  • Fashion: New Look Autumn/Winter 2015 Press Day

A couple of weeks ago I headed down to London for New Look's latest press day. I'm a massive fan of the brand so without hesitation I booked my tickets for a 2 hour train and I couldn't wait to see what New Look had in-store for Autumn/Winter 2015.

The press day had a real 70's theme to it. There was a lot of patterned clothing, denim skirts, flared jeans and clothing with a laid-back bohemian vibe.

One thing that really stuck out to me was the amazing jewellery pieces which New Look have coming up next season. There was so many gorgeous silver pieces and they were either quite simple or very embellished which I loved.

One area New Look always wins at is accessories. I can't count on my hands how many New Look bags or pieces of jewellery I own. I much prefer it to some other brands as it doesn't tarnish easily. I love the New Look clutches as they're such good value for money too. I was also loving the shoes... I wanted all the shoes!

My favourite shoes were these black boots and purple heels. I think the boots would look perfect for Autumn/Winter, they're stylish and don't have too much of a heel and the shape of them was lovely to. I really liked these purple heels, they're a great alternative to a summer heel and the colour of them is gorgeous!

What do you think of New Look? What are you looking forward to next season?

  • Whats in my Suitcase

Before I left for my Trek America I decided to do a packing video. It was a super casual video but I thought it might be a fun idea to show what I was brining with me. You can watch that over on my Youtube Channel for a full run down on all the things I picked to take with me!

There are a few things I’d change now I’m back and reflecting on the trip. Id really recommend bringing long pants/trousers and something like leggings or yoga pants. I last minute packed sweatpants but no jeans so I ended up buying pants while I was away. It’s America so everything was super easy to get hold of but you could save yourself money by packing them with you. I’d already planned on picking up an ‘murica hoody so I only bought the one I wore on the plane which was an error. Bring a few warm clothes even if you think its going to be hot because even thought it was generally pretty warm it does get incredibly cold in the evenings. Just because you’re in the desert it doesn’t mean it won’t get cold! It’s worth noting that our trip was unseasonably cold and rainy! I also packed a dress for our last night in Vegas as I wanted something a little over the top/dressy for Vegas, because it’s goddam Vegas!

Apart from that I used pretty much used and wore everything I bought with me. I would 100% recommend bringing a sleeping bag liner as it creates a extra warmth layer. Pick up things like suncream, bug spray (although I didn’t use it at all on the trip and didn’t get bitten) and a pillow from a Walmart stop along the way!

  • Whats in my Travel Makeup Bag

For tofays post I thought I'd share the things that I packed with me in my makeup bag as I went on my Trek trip! I love these whats in my makeup bag videos as it's always so interesting to see what people take with them and what they consider to be essentials!

My makeup bag is from Muji and was one of my favourite things I picked up before I left for my trip. The bag came in handy when I was away because I could take it in and out my suitcase with ease to take to the bathrooms to do my makeup and having everything organised and easy to reach was so handy. I also made a similar bag with all my skincare and haircare items in if you are interested in seeing that I can also do a post on my skincare bits.

I hope you find it helpful if you're off on a holiday in the next few months and want to know how I condensed my usual makeup collection into something more portable! Let me know what you think and make sure you give it a big ol' thumbs up over on my channel, it would mean a lot to me!

  • Trek America Day 1 - 3

Believe it or not Im struggling to remember what the first few nights in America were like. It genuinely feels like so long ago but it was only two weeks ago I left for the states. It's kinda crazy. If you didn't know a couple of weeks ago I headed off on a Trek America Trip to visit some of the national parks in the states and soak of some American Culture. I'd never been to the US before until late last year and that was only New York so heading to the opposite coast was always going to be a bit different!

So I ended up staying out all night on the Saturday before I flew. I was hungover and a huge mess by the time I reached the airport on the Sunday morning but I was determined to make the best of my experience. No hangovers are going to be ruining this trip!

The flight over there was easy as anything. Me, Evan and Steve sat together and chatted our way through a 10 hour flight which included Evan getting tipsy within the first two hours and then spilling food everywhere. It’s nice to go away with people that just get what you do. I’ve been on a Contiki before with “regular” people (I know I sound like an asshole, but you know what I mean!) as well as on a Contiki with a bunch of other bloggers and to be honest both have their pros and cons. Having common ground makes it so much easier to make friends with people though. Luckily I knew a few people going on the trip already but it was awesome meeting a bunch of new people who did the same kinda stuff as you.

Vegas was a stereotypical blur. We stayed in the old strip near Fremont Street which was fun. Me, Hannah and Steve ended up staying out way too late and drinking way too much which was the cause of sore heads in the morning. Little did we know it was going to be nothing like our last night in Vegas… That was something else.

From Vegas we headed over to Zion National Park where we would be thrown in the deep end and be camping for two nights solid. Now if you’ve seen my packing video then you’d be safe to assume we thought it was going to be warm. The agency had told us it’d be warm so we took their word for it. Boy did we goof here! It was absolutely freezing in the evenings and drizzled most days!

Our first Trek was to be the Emerald Pools Trail. This is one of Zion's most popular trails and certainly set us up for the trek's we'd be under taking over the rest of the trip. I found that this hike was pretty easy but found the whole trail itself a little underwhelming. It was pretty but there was no big pay off at the end like some of the other hike's we did during our time Stateside. It was a pretty short hike though but got our blood pumping and ready to go!

The above photo is my favourite photo I think I took on the whole trip. I wish the sky wasnt so blown out but the only way I could have got it back was to Photoshop it in but then I felt like it would have lost some of it's authenticity.

After the hike we were tired, hot and a bit sweaty so headed back to our campsite to set up. Me and Corrie did a boss job of putting up our tent. For two "beauty guru's" we sure did good when it came to camp set ups! Our first Campsite was really nice and it even had two heated pools and a slide which we all joyfully played in like children. Camp life is fun but basic, the food was absolutely fine - we cooked ourselves and then had beers around the campfire. It was nice. But like I said this first night was SO cold. Unbelievably cold, none of us were really prepared for how cold it was going to get and we all awoke grumpy and craving sugary American Cereal.

However within hours it started to warm up and we set ourselves up to hike Angels Landing. Now this was a bit of an epic Trek for us n00bs. A 5 mile steep climb including a 1/4 of a mile which was ropeways and chains attached to rocks with sheer drops either side. When you see my vlog from the trip you will totally get where Im coming from and see what I mean a little better. There was no chance I was trying to take photos with my SLR some of these tiny walkways! They were unbelievably hard to get across.

It was pretty terrifying actually but when I reached the top with Hannah and Emma we were all so proud of how far we'd come. We sat on what felt like the top of the world and reflected on life. It was really awesome. Pictures really don't do any of the places I visited here in America justice. I really hope I captured them the best I could! I have loads more to share over the next few days so keep checking back for more updates (:

  • Fashion: 5 Fashion Bloggers I'm loving lately

If there's one thing for sure, not enough bloggers show fellow bloggers some love on their own blogs. I love reading when bloggers share there current favourite bloggers and I did a post like this a few months ago which you can check out here. With there being SO MANY blogs out there right now and so much awesome content being shared, I thought it was only right to share with you all my top 5 bloggers I'm loving lately.

    1. Amy from The Little Mapgie - If you don't already (for some ridiculous reason) read Amy's blog a suggestion you add her to your blog lovin feed right now! I've loved Amy's blog for years and she has the most gorgeous sense of style. We met back in Copenhagen (you can read posts about it here and here) on a blogging trip a couple of years ago and she's one of the nicest bloggers I've ever met!
    2. Charlotte from Things I Do Think And Buy - If there's anyone who always makes me want to go shopping it's Charlotte. She always rocks a high-street look and she could literally make any outfit look good! This girl has serious style and I love her tweets too! You can follow her on twitter here.
    3. Lucia from Style Confessional - If there's a girl with a wardrobe I'd quite happily swap with it's Lucia. I've loved her blog for years and years now and I really don't think she gets enough recognition for her truly amazing sense of style!
    4. Lucy from Lulutrixabelle - Lucy has been one of my closest friends for a few years now and I'm so glad I've made a best friend through blogging! She's one of the nicest and most genuine people I know, she inspires me to step outside the box and experiment with style and she looks amazing in literally anything!!
    5. Megan from Pages By Megan - Megan is literally the ultimate 70's girl. She's one of the nicest bloggers I've met and she's such a joy to be around. She's a graduate from my university course too (go Huddersfield!) and has the dream job working for ASOS. I've loved her style ever since coming across her blog a few years ago, it's so quirky and really unique and she always makes me want to go on a shopping spree when I read her blog!
What do you think of these blogs? Are you going to add these blogs to your reading list?

  • Lifestyle: Cornwall Photo Diary

Just over a couple of weeks ago I went to Cornwall for a long weekend break with my boyfriend and his family and had the best time. I've never been to Cornwall and I was so excited to go. I love discovering places within the UK which I haven't visited yet! The photo above I took when we were walking my boyfriends dog it looked like we weren't in Cornwall and looks like a tropical island or something!

    Top - Topshop

Waistcoat - New Look (sold out but available in Blue here)

    Jeans - Topshop

    Scarf - Zara

Ben has the most adorable staffordshire terrier. He loves swimming and as soon as he saw the water he pulled on the lead and pretty much dragged us to it!

We saw some really beautiful views and the beaches were absolutely gorgeous. We stopped off for a drink at a nearby pub and I had the best cider. I've never had Somersby Cider before but I would strongly recommend trying the cranberry one it was so yummy!

When we walked through a local village I found this sign outside a pub and I just had to take a photo of it! We stopped for lunch and I had this delicious pie and chips. Newquay has some lovely pubs and they're quite different to the pubs I'm used to visiting. They have such a friendly atmosphere aswell.

I loved visiting Cornwall and Newquay and the surrounding areas of it and had the most amazing time with my boyfriend and his family. I really enjoyed my trip and loved how we found so many beautiful views and we didn't have to leave England!

Is there anywhere else in the UK you would recommend visiting? What do you think of Cornwall?

  • Trek America - Day 4-7

In a theme that seems common with my travels I ended up losing all my photos from Moab and Bryce Canyon. Im so annoyed as Moab was probably my favourite part of our whole trip! It's a really cool town, kinda like hippy-ish and really chill. Here we ended up staying in a hotel for three nights which was a welcome break from the cold two nights we'd had! We went on this super cool sunset Jeep tour where we saw some amazing rocks and even some real dinosaur prints (yeap that photo is a REAL dino print!) Im such a fangirl when it comes to stuff like that and I was SO excited to see actual dinosaur stuff. We also went to Dead Horse point which was amazingly cool. I thought it was the biggest ammount of Canyon land I'd ever seen... well until we rocked up to the Grand Canyon!I do have footage of this so it'll be in my full vlog!

I also had a really moody day leading up to our time in Monument Valley. I was tired, sick and bored of being soggy and wet all the time. I even had a little melt down on Twitter about it which a lot of people took as the fact I hadnt enjoyed my trip at all. There are pros and cons of my experiance which I'll summarise at the end, but In hindsight I regret being such a Diva and getting pissed off at silly things but thats the downside of group travel. I think I just needed some "me" time and having people telling you need to be here there and everywhere constantly is really hard. Especially when you're so used to planning your own life out all the time.

I also think I was a bit hungover, somehow we managed to get incredibly drunk one night in Utah (considering they only sell 3% alcohol) and walked for ages to find a 7Eleven. In which Tyson and Steve bought Burritos, put them on the floor and then collected them later on in the night. I have no recollection of this but it was a really fun night to be honest. That's always gonna be my favourite part of the trip is the evenings where we'd get drunk and gossip and just talk about life. You get so close to people so quickly and before you know it you've spilled the sordid details of your sex life and tell people when you're going for a poop. It's weird.

On the drive to Monument Valley we stopped off at some pretty cool points. Including a place called Goose Necks... which I encountered my first gross toilet. In which I opened a toilet to go pee and there was shit everywhere. Literally an unholy amount of poop that I just instantly shrieked and ran away. We also stopped off at that spot in Forrest Gump where he just stops running randomly and decides to go home. But this was again during my moody day and I'm slapping myself now but I was really having a crappy day and projecting it on to others was not cool of me.

We drove through Monument Valley and got told all about the various rocks and what they all meant. It's actually really cool seeing this huge stone structures some natural and carved by the Navajo up close. Our guide told us about some of the Navajo culture and really shared their beliefs and stories with us. We had traiditonal Navajo Taco's (which were amazing) and did some dancing round the fire in the rain. While the rain that had initially put me in a bad mood was beating down on us (seriously we were ALL soaked) we had the best fun and one of the most entertaining evenings of our trip.

That evening we spent the night in a traditional Hogan which is the traditional houses of the Navajo people. They are these round mud huts and I really regret not taking any photos! I think I was too excited about the idea of all sleeping together to think about the #content.

All of us "Cool Crew" as we dubbed ourselves insisted we sleep together in a line which on reflection was a bad idea. Between Steve's coughing and him telling Evan "DUDE SHUT UP" and not to mention Evans's monstrous snoring none of us really got much sleep. Corrie did her first nature wee and I managed to be sick and wee all while Hannah Gale laughed in my face. I'd inhaled way too much chemical fumes and was just feeling less than awesome. None the less it was an experience I was never going to forget!
